This pack of misfits is led by Evan Bayh of Indiana, some kind of twisted Democrat. He has a pack of losers towing the line behind him, like Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Kay Hagen (D-NC), Mark Udall (D-CO) and, of course, the feckless Joe Lieberman (I(diot)-CT). There are 14 in all and poor Evan Bayh, he of little brain power, doesn’t understand why the liberals have a problem with his little group. According to Bayh himself, his little group has no agenda and has “taken no policy positions.” Well, Evan, maybe that’s the problem. This is a “duh” moment if ever there was one.
Here’s some authentic, say-nothing gobbledeygook courtesy of Jeanne Shaheen, who’s slightly better than tree bark. According to Shaheen, the group “is about finding practical, common-sense solutions” to the nation’s challenges. If that isn’t the biggest piece of hooey you’ve ever heard, I want to know what is. She’s really saying let’s pull back and take our time. Let’s take the CONSERVATIVE approach. Well, Jeanne, that’s not what the people mandated, unfortunately. It may well be what your small-town constituents want (and following their mantra is what you need to do to get re-elected in four years), but it may not be what the MAJORITY of Americans want. They want change and they want it now.
The problem with Bayh’s little group is that they sound downright, well, REPUBLICAN. No policy positions. No new ideas. Just obstructionist. That about fits the bill. I say draw up the papers and give these stiffs to the Repugnicans. That’s where they belong.
